Typhoon Haiyan, also kown as Typhoon Yolanda, was one of the strongest tropical cyclones ever recorded in the world history. It killed a total number of 6,300 people in the Philippines. It is an open source web application that provides a message board for survivors, family an love ones affected by a disaster to post and search for information about each other status updates. This application helped thousand of people affected by the typhoon, it's easy to use, and you can easily access on the internet or to send a message on the numbers indicated in the website.

This simple innovation can lead into something greater. What if on the most generation we can easily access and communicate to our loved ones. ICT can be a pathway to get access to information; it helps to improve our way of living as well as the way we respond with different calamities or disasters come into our life.
